State of the Outlands to the Empress

Empress, senior, sister, fellow cartographer and guardian of our people,   I have such shining news. I have arrived at the Crystal Spires and found it awoken. Four groups of sleeping Osyr are in various stages of waking, 50,000 in total. The city is under the care of Ava and he and I have discussed how to integrate into the world as it stands. There are children here - rambunctious and boisterous in the streets before their parents wake. There are people who don't entirely remember the War; they are happy and seemingly at peace.   What's more - I have found Black Tourmaline beneath the lake in Deldrin. She is wounded and in deep slumber protecting another cache of sleeping Osyr. Teacher has advised simply healing her through brute force once I can assemble enough mystics, which will be simple enough. The political situation in Deldrin is a little unusual since the city is ruled by a council of humans but I am confident that this is not an insurmountable problem. The library has awoken and this has lent some understanding for ancient mysteries to an otherwise very modern settlement.   I will arrange to start the slow process of assembling enough mystics and constructing the theoretical circle unless you have other thoughts. In this, I will defer, but you must tell Kadia and Hella about the Crystal Spires.   Last we spoke you said that the trees near the Weaver's Village (Windswept) would be safe to approach. Only Thalien and I were able to commune with the trees; apparently they can't reach through the elvish oaths. Regardless, having found them is heartening. I just don't know exactly what to do with them yet aside from keep them company. They felt very lonely.   All is well here. Keep my family safe.   Heiassa
