Speculation from Magdalena

Heiassa,   I've arrived at a midpoint on my journey. I wish you were here with me. These northern shores are unlike anything you've yet seen. I've enclosed a Seeing Stone, feed it a bit of blood to see the world I'm gazing on. Sadly, the only way to get to where I'm going is by enchanted gate in this wilderness. The storms make travel difficult and magic unreliable. Tell Kaide that as much as I wish you were here to share this experience, I also wish that I had her and the strength of her sword beside me. Unreliable magic makes this place lethal, even for me. 2 weeks at the soonest, 4 weeks at the latest. We should be able to pass letters again before summer arrives.   I hope to hear of your success with the Eldritch spirits when I exit this cursed space.   Please stay safe. The place I told you to take Jaedien, if it really is him, is where the remnants of the first Grove he planted are. Nothing else will grow there but roots should still remain. I believe that he's entered a true cycle of rebirth... perhaps in 2 or 3 more years as a Fae of Seasons, he'd recover some songs of his past, when he'd be 'old enough' to become an adolescent Fae of Samsara.   I wonder if this is Mother's doing. If she protected his spirit and his song for all these years. His age matches well to the beginnings of the Vanguard. He isn't like them but maybe, just maybe, Mother understands what I'm doing. She may have decided it's time now to let him come back... or, the thing I tremble to say... Maybe she's sending him to help.   No answers, only speculation, and just the tiniest bit of hope that she hasn't truly abandoned us.
