Dal!   I'm so glad to hear from you. Bran is wonderful, the best gift Thalien has ever given. Just as brilliant and sometimes just as annoying as Thalien himself. If he's reforging you then you'll come out brighter and stronger than before.   You will like Whitewater (or whatever it has become). There's a woman there who I'm sure Bran will introduce you to - Vedrah. She is the first Sworn human outside of our family. Spend some time with her see what she's growing; I've enclosed a few seeds from where I am right now.   Nina and Torrick are such a curious pair. The best rulers are those who shoulder the responsibility with a sense of duty and obligation not just entitlement. I think it will be good for them and their people, certainly a much-needed model of royalty for humans...and maybe dwarves as well. Not that I would have designed a caste system but if I were, those Ventarri collars would be to their people, not their Empress. I feel justified in this analysis after everything I've seen here.   Bran will be fine on his own. He has an uncanny ability to make friends wherever he goes. I think it will do you good to be cooking again and no one leader has ever suffered from your questioning before. Well...perhaps they've suffered but they came out better for it.   Stay safe; I miss you.
