Departure from Kadia

My Lady,   The force of a thousand waves, may it clear the obstacles from your path. This letter, my hopes that it finds you well.   Our hearts swim in rip tides as the day myself and Hella travel to the empire approaches. On this small island, we seek the stillness of frozen pools for our hearts. To Tira, we must apologize for the deception, but the enlargement of our understanding of this place was not the reason we chose to stay alone.   Long has my life been spent in service. As tide pools left by the retreating sea, what remains of me is much less than the whole of the sea.   In these shallow pools swims the joy of life shown to me by your and Hella's hearts. From eons of nightmares have I woken to wonder and shadows that have become as cooling sea spray on the wind. The air of this new life is sweet and on it my vow that I will return to the side of you who welcomed my storm tossed soul into the safe harbor of your family.   Before we depart, on this magic sea, please join us.
