Bloodline Echo: Great Great Grandmother?
In these echoes, you see the same Ossyr as before, though this time, while he's old, he's uninjured. In the very first echo, she's less than a century old and already has eyes that have seen things that would haunt weaker people. In this echo, she's taken to an underground cavern and pulled into a pool of faintly glowing water. The Ossyr performs a ritual of binding, carving words of power directly into her flesh that make it impossible to disobey. Once it's done he asks: "Does it bother you? That your family chose you as the sacrifice of your generation?" She answers: "No my lord. I was raised to be your instrument from birth. I stand ready for your command."
In the echoes that follow, you see her moving through shadow like a ghost. Sometimes, she's collecting things and information. Once, she's commanded to slay an Ossyr and ensure that a letter is found on his person. As the echoes progress, she becomes colder and more detached. Occasionally, you get moments of her lurking deep in shadow and watching an elven family. She never speaks to them, but once you see her leaving a brightly wrapped bundle on the pillow of a young girl.
Then things get painful. War breaks out. She's commanded to clip the wings of fae of each season and specialty. "I'm sorry" she tells a young summer fae boy. "You need to be alive when I sever your wings. It's going to hurt a lot. I promise, I'll end your life as soon as I have what I need - I won't prolong your suffering."
Following that, the echo devolves into the butchering of fae after fae as she completes her gruesome orders… you make it through 4 of them before the echo becomes to painful to hold.
Your fourth attempt manages to teach five generations back - you believe the person you're seeing is the mother of the great grandmother you last saw. In appearance, she's similar to your great grandmother but much colder and more severe.
