Heiassa,   Jaeril? She's really awakened? Does she remember that time? Will she know me when I return? And… did she really hear mother?   If mother is trying to freeze her heart, I'll need to rely on you to draw her into your warmth. I won't stand for anything that cuts Jaeril off from others. That kindness and ability to reach out, even to thorny messes like me, is part of what made her special.   I'm enclosing the recordings of the lectures along with a packet of practical exercises. There's a bit of sister magic to Brother's Spirit Calling here. It'll allow you to start exploring Bloodline Echoes. You won't be able to communicate with your ancestors per se but you can start to find the experiences of their life that are strong enough to Echo.   I'm preparing to leave. I don't think I'm capable of coming back the way I got here. I both long to reunite with you and Kaide and desperately want to see Sister Jaeril but now I'm carrying too much to take the same risks. I'll be coming back from the far west, across the sea. In six weeks, I can be in the human city of Haven.
