Regent Supreme

Regent Supreme is the title Thaddeus Mercator has taken for himself, after the disappearance of the Ruling Council. Seemingly, it is only a temporary title, meant to keep things running while a new council is formed by the mages of the academies. Yet, for some reason Thaddeus keeps his seat and the council hall stays silent. Do the Academies suddenly lack for ambition or was this all a coup by Thaddeus himself, and nobody dares question his power? Whatever the case may be, it is good for us, and The Dominion as well. Celotene has become a much more open nation, willing to engage in diplomacy and even trade with its neighbours. Maybe the people are happy to keep this new form of governance and the Regent will stay.
