Arcane Signature

All things possessing arcane energy give off a distinct Arcane Signature, a magical imprint the intensity of which is directly proportional to the amount of energy following within it.

Certain creatures and artifacts are able to detect and measure these signatures, this unique sense is called Arcsight .

Common sources of potent Arcane Signatures are Arcane Crystals, magic items or artifacts, and powerful beings, humanoid or otherwise. Arcane Energy can be dangerous or volatile past a certain threshold and may even be visible to the naked eye if in high enough concentration, an arcane surge can occur when the vessel containing the energy (be it crystal, device or creature) cannot handle the amount of energy within it and releases that energy, often violently.

Calculation

Arcane Signature, sometimes called Arcane Energy Signature (AES), is measured in Arcane Units (AUs).

ArcaneCrystals = The amount of crystals you're carrying of the respective level

EquipmentAES = AES contributions from your equipment (both worn and carried)
