Dragon Tribe

The Thuwedari, known as the Dragon Tribe, are the revered demigod descendants of the Twin Goddess Dragons, Solara and Sylvanice. As the direct heirs to these divine beings, the Thuwedari were tasked with upholding their mothers' legacy of wisdom, magic, and harmony. From the earliest days of Sylvantara, the Thuwedari have been a guiding force, shaping the world’s civilizations and cultures with a focus on peace, justice, and the well-being of all races.   Striving to maintain neutrality in a world filled with conflict, the Thuwedari have always sought to preserve peace and harmony wherever possible. However, they are not immune to the challenges of the world, and when their lands or people are threatened, they do not hesitate to defend themselves. The 300-year war that ravaged Sylvantara was a test of their resolve. Although they did not choose to participate in the conflict, they ultimately sided with justice and peace, intervening only to protect their lands and uphold the balance they so dearly cherished.   The Thuwedari are a unique lineage, with varying degrees of divine power among their ranks. The first generation of Thuwedari, directly descended from Solara and Sylvanice, are blessed with divine immortality, allowing them to live indefinitely unless slain. Their descendants, however, are not born with this gift, though they are still considered divine beings. These later generations can attain divine immortality through a sacred tradition known as the Talado Thuwedari Festival, which translates to the Divine Dragon Festival.   The Talado Thuwedari Festival is a deeply revered ceremony held every few years within the Dragon Tribe. During this ancient tradition, participants may be blessed with divine immortality, a rare and coveted gift. Those who receive this blessing undergo a process known as Draconification, transforming into immortal dragons if they are not already of dragonkind. The festival is a time of great celebration and reflection, and while not everyone receives the blessing of immortality, there is no dishonor or negative consequence for those who do not. However, the process of Draconification carries risks for those with unbalanced hearts; they may become corrupt, their transformation tainted by darkness.   Through their wisdom, power, and traditions, the Thuwedari have left an indelible mark on the world of Sylvantara. Their influence is seen in the very fabric of society, and their presence continues to inspire awe and reverence among the other races. Even in times of turmoil, the Thuwedari remain steadfast in their commitment to peace, harmony, and the protection of their world.
