Menehuneneblin, Greenstone Gnomes
The Menehune were among the first wave of far ranging gnome explorers who traveled far and wide from the lands of their birth eventually settling in the Rainbow Archipelago. Before humans arrived they would build cities with ample fish and banana farms (Both are a stable of their diet even today). The early history of the Menehune is not a kind one however and they would be targeted by the Syrinx and hunted for enslavement. Even after the Syrinx became a retreating people and the Menehune were freed they remain wary even shy and paranoid preferring to come above ground only at night and often ready to disappear or shroud themselves in mist to escape at a moments notice. While their buildings and work are often seen many consider the Menehune a myth all the while being unaware they live just below them.
