SkyLand

High in the air with a wide view of the surrounding area is the SkyLand, supported on either side by a SkyBridge. Many towns and cities occupy these lofty seats, despite the cooler temperatures running 3-7 degrees F/2-4 degrees C lower than the land below it.

Dimensions

Skylands are shaped like a hemisphere, flat on the top and roundish underneath. Average land diameters range from 1000-3000 feet/300-900 meters. The bottom most portion of the hemisphere is generally at least 500 feet/150 meters off of the ground below it.

Water

In addition to the rainwater that collects on the SkyLand, most have at least one spring from within the earth of the hemisphere.

Magic

Magic passes through the hemisphere via the Ley Loop that runs through the SkyBridge.
