The Fables
The Fables are a hero group that was established centuries ago. They were made in direct opposition to the Hooded Fellows. They have battled them in the shadows for years, saving the world while know one even knows they exist. The Fables are all entirely human, no one with super powers have ever chosen for a seat if it becomes empty. They find the best of the best, amongst the peak of human abilities. The Fables seem to know of their next recruits abilities before their recruit does.
Humble Reeds - A rogue, a master of deception who was chosen due to their willingness to quickly adapt to any situation, social or otherwise. They are also very physically flexible. Wild Boar - A genius weapon maker, chosen for their capability of creating something for every situation and who himself stays prepared to fight. The Crow - A quick thinking and tactical master. The Crow can quickly figure out a solution to a rapidly developing problem. Tortoise - The Tortoise is a master of foresight. They were chosen due to their ability to see hidden patterns, small knots in a sea of strings. While by themselves are harmless, but if they were connected could cause chaos. They were chosen to figure out problems that will happen in the future and need long term planning to solve the issues lying in wait.

The Fables choose their monikers based on characters from actual Fables. As fables were used to create accountability and teach morality, the Fables have taken to embodying those virtues.
