Abbas was raised in secret hideouts and always seemed to be on the move his whole life. All he's ever known was danger, surrounded by gunfire, extreme violence and bombs raining from the sky. Being brought up in a war-zone while being targeted by the worlds strongest army, and raised by one of the worlds most hated groups will scar anyone. But it's not something a child should get used to. But Abbas just wanted to survive and he did whatever he had to.

  The Taliban always told Abbas the states bombed his parents. So he took that anger with him, suffocating himself in walls of rage with a piercing hatred towards anything he labeled as western. They gave him a gun but the ptsd he had since a child rendered him useless with it. So he was kept in the rear fixing things and cleaning their weapons. During one offensive everyone around him that he grew up with was killed. The only reason he survived was because of the metal from their machete's formed a shield around him. He woke up in a hospital surrounded by people he was told to hate. He fought with them constantly trying to escape until someone who spoke his language, spent months convincing him he wasn't in danger. Also that if he could go with him, he wouldn't have to worry about bombs anymore.

  Abbas was counted as refugee and brought to Canada, where he was adopted by another refugee family. It was there he discovered his powers. His first time playing a video game he was triggered by the bomb sound effects. He summoned a sword out of nowhere, and it destroyed the tv. He got scared and ran way and wandered the streets making the news, until he was found by Power Gem who returned him home. Power Gem would later take him under his wing, to help him learn about the world and shed the teachings of the Taliban.
