Personal history
Minerva came into her powers at a concert when she 16. She was waiting in a frustratingly long line for the girls room as she watched the guys fly in and out of theres every few minutes. Annoyed and with a near bursting bladder, she tried to rush inside the boys room when she felt no one was inside. Just before she reached the door a security guard who took his job way too seriously stopped her. She pleaded but to no avail. Her friends caused a distraction so she could get in, as she finally got relief when she walked out the guard was waiting. He ripped her armband off and told her she was getting kicked out. She had to follow him outside and he had her wait while he used his own personal port-a-potty before tossing her out. She got furious she turned bright red and kicked his port-a-potty 300 feet away where it landed in a lake.
She was then arrested and a lot of effort went into trying to charge her with a crime. But due to her not knowing she had powers beforehand and being a minor she given leeway by a sympathetic judge. Since the only thing injured on the man was his pride, she was able to be enrolled in a program to help her use her gifts in a more positive manner. After she finished the program and graduated high school, she began her heroic career quickly becoming a fan favorite.
After a few years out of nowhere it seemed she decided to join the military. Which proved to be a good decision, because whatever happened after she began serving gave her powers she never displayed before in public before. Behind the Pantheon, Maple is the most recognizable Canadian hero.
