Orlando was adopted by his mother who adopted 5 more kids of different nationalities. So he grew up with people always looking at his family, sometimes it was good natured and others well, you can't win them all. But his parents were amazing and he loved them and his siblings. Somewhere along the line he realized he had magic powers, and he wanted to use them to make his family rich but also keep it a surprise. So he kept practicing in secret for years before he showed them off.

When he was almost ready to show off his powers he noticed he was being followed. He tried to walk away but the people following caught up to him. At first thinking he was in danger he nearly attacked them, until they acquired into his safety and well being. He was very confused until they asked if he was ever scared of his parents. Which confused him even more until they showed some footage of his mother, who was on trial for the murder of her own natural children. He didn't believe it and ran away, never bringing it up to his parents or siblings.

But he had second thoughts about showing his powers now, and wanted to see his own natural parents. He used magic to find their location but only saw grass, he kept trying but kept getting the same spot. He wasn't good at it since it was first time, so he tried his siblings parents. It showed the same spot, each one of their parents he tried to find showed the same spot. Then he tried his parents, and it showed them where their parents where. Then he tried strangers, and it worked on them to. But him and all of his siblings all showed the same patch of grass. The wheels he didn't want to grease slowly started turning. There's no way, not his parents, they were the kindest people he ever met. His family was perfect they couldn't be that, that would mean they're terrible and he couldn't handle that. This caused a lot of stress for the kid, he didn't want to think or know about this. He just wanted it gone, he wanted everyone in his family to be the same.

While he was going through this, he could hear the tv in the next room detailing the latest crime of Chuccles and the Fun Family. His mind just latched onto it and kept repeating it in his head like a catchy tune, it kept going until all he heard was Chuccles and family. Then he vanished, he appeared in a different city with almost no memory of his life before. All he thought about was finding his family. He eventually did, and Chuccles who assumed his abilities were due to some technological wizardry, happily took him in.  Though he did come to realize Chuccles holds a lot of jealousy for anyone that claims to do real magic, so he put a spell on him. So anytime Chuccles asks him how he did something, however he responds Chuccles will hear an acceptable answer.
