Kid Current

Ronnie grew up in Watts, California with his father. His dad was a reformed gang member who found a special suit while robbing a house. Realizing someone would definitely come looking for it he kept it hidden. His father went straight after Ronnie was born. His mother left after admitting she wasn't ready to be a parent and took off. Their neighborhood wasn't the best but it was home. His father made sure he knew all the people from his old life, so they knew if Ronnie came looking to join to turn him away without question. When he was younger he didn't care, but once he started getting older he started seeing less reason to go along with the normalcy of a regular life.

Ronnie saw how even normal kid would get harassed walking down the street by police and nobody seemed to do anything. He tried to join activist groups but when he'd mentioned his fathers past, they would start down on him. Blaming his father and people like him for their problems. His favorite teacher was killed by a drunken rich kid in car he couldn't control who got off with probation. Ronnie didn't want to join a gang, but the lifestyle of living on your own rules when it seemed like other people didn't have to abide by them seemed promising.

His father tried to dissuade him from going on the path, especially with the suit but he couldn't think of the right words. Nothing came out right anything and he did say just seemed to further his sons argument. In the end, he just sat there defeated. Knowing he couldn't stop him if he tried, all he asked was that he make it home at night. Ronnie obliged, and Current Kid arrived. 

After a few months he was tracked down by the company who built his suit. They threatened to ruin his fathers life and give him a bit of money just to smooth things over if he worked for them.

Kid Current takes whatever he wants and he no longer apologizes or fears reproach.
