- Origin: After Tamaya revealed itself, Ava was furious at being abandoned by them that hid, living on underfunded reservations. Her anger triggered her Nola Gene and she became the villain Humming Bolt.
Physical Description
Special abilities
- Kinetic Wings - She can fly using glowing energy wings, they flap as fast as a hummingbird with each flap generating kinetic energy that she can store in her body.
- Flight
- Kinetic Blast - The energy she stores in her body she can blast out the center of her chest.
- Durability - The energy she stores can also increase the damage she able to withstand if she doesn't release it.
- Healing - She can use the energy to heal herself if she gets hurt to badly.

Personal history
Ava like many others natives grew up on a reservation, but she a strong distaste for it. She hated being the apart of the people that were just broken, land stolen and given pieces of land of a whole country that once belonged to them. She didn't see any future for her there, but at the same time felt an incredible sadness for everyone that remained. She left at the first opportunity she could.
She didn't want to work at the casinos, she refused to accept it. Believing it was a consolation meant to pacify, she worked at bars, she drove for ride-share and delivery companies, all to pay for her law degree. She felt she had to try to win as much rights and land back as she could because there was no other option, or help coming their way. She wouldn't have stopped either until Tamaya revealed itself. A safe haven for the people, all this time? she thought. How could they just let them suffer all this time when they were right there. She was so angry her powers manifested and blew a hole in the side of her apartment.
While she was still formulating a plan on how to get revenge on Tamaya, Nu-Divus was opening its doors to recruitment. Just for a second she thought about changing course, maybe her anger wasn't the right way. Maybe there was another path for her and she could resolve things the right way with Tamaya, her anger was still there but she was open to options. But when she was picked for the team and realized what it was, she accepted that her anger was righteous, and her path chosen for her. She debuted as the hero Sprite.
