Personal history
Alyssa grew up in Calabasas, California to two very wealthy parents. She was a talented student growing up, and an exceptional athlete. Her father was half Italian and half Korean and moved to the states after making a killing selling art in Europe. Her mother was a half German, half British women who became a self made success from working in real estate. Their lives were near picturesque and held an aura of mystery, which was the reason it sold so well.
In reality the Park's were two criminals who started working together after meeting the Matchmaker. Her dad was a master thief and her mother was a demolitions expert and a saboteur. Their criminal harmony bloomed into an actual romance which bore Alyssa as its fruit. They had no second thoughts about bringing her into the family business, especially when her powers started showing.
During one of their jobs the entire family was caught, and they were given two options. Option A was everyone getting life in prison with no chance of parole, but they kept their money. Option B was Alyssa using her skills to help the military in their less public maneuvers, in which they would get pardoned for her doing so, but also having to turn over their bank accounts. She definitely wasn't going to let her parents rot in jail and knew they could make it back, so she signed up.
