Furious George

Ekong was naturally strong and work only influenced that. But he did like to drink more than he should which gave him a bit of a beer belly.

Ekong was was a strong lumberjack in his town, and had a personal disdain with the British. He had hated that his people had ever been ruled by someone else, but had nothing he could do about it. But it did not stop him talking about it. For some reason his town was visited by members of a Chinese corporation. He immediately distrusted him, but they heard him talking about his issues with the British and they had some ideas for him.

They asked to start a rebellion against all western invaders of Nigeria, and all of Africa if he wished and they'd help. Ekong was thinking on the idea when an accident occurred. Both of his arms happened to be crushed, and the visiting corporation happened to have something that could save them. They took him offsite and when he awoke from surgery he had metal arms. He thought they were a blessing and he agreed to help them at first. After he helped them with a few things he found out they were responsible for the accident. He attacked them and literally threw them out of his town.

Ekong was caught on camera helping quell unjust uprisings around Africa. When he was seen by Americans on television it earned him the nickname Furious George. He was later invited to America in the 80's when he first learned of the nickname and thought it was funny. He started working for an American company by, letting them study his technology & helping them figure out why the Chinese company was in the region. He earned enough money to send home to help modernize his town and he even helped fight crime while he was staying there. Donning a costume to hide his identity, he covered his arms with sleeves that looked like gorilla arms, and wore a traditional Ibibio mask to go with it.

Ekong passed in 1994 fighting against the Rwanda Genocide. A memorial statue of him is located in his hometown.

At first he was just interested in keeping his town away from outsiders, but then decided to be a full time crimefighter.
