Evernal
Evernal. The Wilds that run forever, home to giants and monsters and warring nations. A place of beauty, nestled into greenery covered in morning dew and pristine waters spouting over the landscape.
History
Evernal is a city hidden away by it's keepers, very few even know of its existence and many pass by it daily. Established in the 90's, it's inhabitants have grown unheeded for years. With an constant overflow of food and water, their numbers swelled well past thought possible. With a little help from some unexpected immigration every now and then. But Evernal owes it's existence to the Spring Queen.
When she passed her life force enveloped her town and may have taken some of it. Many people who were thought to have left were actually shrunken only centimeters high, and transported into her garden. They tried to escape but gave up after a time, embracing their new lives. They adapted fairly quickly and came to enjoy their newfound freedom from the shackles of normal life. They had water, food and shelter and land, everything they ever wanted. They celebrated, and from that celebration came a lot of children. Not only that but many would sneak past Evernal's guardians, and steal then eat or sell the fruit, which would shrink them anyone who ate it as well.
Over that span of all those years many would be drawn into the garden, enough so that a few superheroes took notice. When they figured what was going on they decided to help conceal the garden much better than its previous keepers would. Ensuring no one accidentally turned themselves into new citizens of Evernal, but they also devised a way to reverse the shrinking. But none of the people wanted to come back, electing to stay in their miniature forms.
They have somewhat reverted to hunter gatherers type societies who often feud with each other. They have also developed themselves into different cultures, with their children and grandchildren never knowing of life outside the garden. The mental toll it might take on them realizing the truth might be to much, so their elders have decided to keep the truth from them.
