- She can also temporarily control people, people under her control also become monochromatic.

Personal history
Dualette was an American spy during WWII. She was caught in the act of sending off information when she was captured and experimented on. Even though she survived and was rescued after the war was over, she developed a bitterness. Not towards her captors, but towards the people she was supposed to be helping. She was tortured for people who she didn't even know, fighting alongside people who she despised back home.
As the years went on and the world changed, she didn't really change with it. She moved on and had kids who had kids. But socially she couldn't adapt to this world as her family did, she felt her freedoms was being restricted. Too many rules had destroyed the America that she fought for her. But she was too old to complain now, and was content to keep quiet.
While babysitting her grandkids, she bought them some snacks and sodas. Being a bit forgetful as she was sometimes, she brought the wrong flavor. They didn't like the smell and drank water instead. She hadn't drunk a soda in years and didn't want to waste it, so she drank it all herself. The next day she felt a shocking pain as her old war wounds flared up, and she went straight to the vet hospital. To everyones surprise they saw her grow young again, changing colors over the next few days. When the higher ups realized what she was, they asked if she was interested in helping her country again. Her bags were packed within the hour.
