Dragonpan

Deng was a factory worker, bored out of his mind with his life. All he did was go to work, go home and sleep. He'd visit his mother sometimes just to break the monotony. He trained extensively as a child in martial arts, his mother always reminded him. He did it because he wanted to become a movie star, he knew all the moves but the filmmakers in china said he wasn't attractive enough to get movie roles.

  It killed his drive, it was all he wanted to do in life. He didn't have the money to just up and leave to another country so he just stayed put. During one of his workdays he got a call from his mother, she wasn't able to board the train or get on a bus. Her social credit score was to low, Deng's cousins in america were critical of the government online and they were punishing his mom for it. After two weeks of this it started happening to him too, he tried to ask for help but the government slandered him publicly.

  The next month both of them were homeless, nobody would help them due to the risk of lowering their scores as well. Deng moved in with some muslim friends, who had been used to this treatment. They taught him and his mother how to survive by getting around the restrictions. Deng never noticed how his country could treat people so horribly, the lives his friends led opened his eyes. When Deng was out running errands, he came back to the house ransacked and everyone gone. The government took everyone who practiced islam and assumed his mother did to. His pleas went nowhere and his mother nearly died in an internment camp. That was the last straw as, he put on a mask and broke her and his friends out, he decided to be the champion the overlooked needed.

Dragonpan is simply a man of the people. He had no idea that some people had it so bad in his country. When it actually happened to him he decided something had to be done.
