Dariana Loche

Spirits are tricky things, sometimes playing humans like fools. Sometimes evil, killing as much as they desire. Sometimes they are jealous, envious of the life that escapes them and desperate to be. Dariana Loche knows the latter all to well, as a child she had a certain connection to the other side that she couldn't explain. Her family couldn't handle it any better either, frightened & lacking knowledge to address the situation, they lashed out at her constantly. 

She would often be in between fits and tantrums, screaming at things only her tiny green eyes could make out. They tormented her at night when she tried to sleep, and during the day when out with her family. The embarrassment and the sleepless nights, the ostracization made them deeply resent her existence. Patience from her family first transformed to frustration, morphing again to anger, and finally forming itself into beatings. The marks on her body would last longer each time, causing Dariana to wonder who would eventually kill her first. The spirits, or her family, she became terrified, her only hope rested in if she could find a way out.

One night, the terrors that plagued her would not be ignored. They rattled the whole house, frightening the family, things flew and moaned about. Doors slammed shut, and then the ghost appeared, forlorn spirits with empty faces fresh from the grave. They attacked and possessed the family, initially Dariana tried to help free them. With all her might, she mustered a powerful force of magical energy. She could feel all the spirits around her, still whispering, asking them to let them be. Just as she was about to banish them, she pictured the peace, the quiet and the nice family she could have and she lowered her hands. Allowing the ghost to remain in her families bodies, they brought her a message from the underworld. If she were to bring the underworld to earth and possess everyone, everything would be peaceful. In the name of Tartarus, she gladly accepted.
