Celine de Lane

The De Lane's are at the forefront of magic in France, having produced powerful witches and wizards in the past who are famous in the community. They use their magic to help people, to throw fantastic celebrations, create wondrous delicacies and of course defend civilians. The De Lane's have been in France since before it was even called France, and they staved off all manner of ghastly creatures. Their joust with the werewolves in their country are stuff of legend.
  Celine is no exception to the family name, but the crown does get heavy at times. With having to uphold such a presence, it's difficult to stand out. Especially when you have a sister whose just as good. Her and her sister were always in competition to get the town talking with their skills. Her sister however, had gotten the wrong kind of attention. One evening while showing off to a few friends of hers on a roof. Explosions began going off, at first she thought it was maybe a terrorist attack. But then she saw a signal go up that was specific to her family, a signal that means 'in danger'. She rushed to the location but her sister had passed before she could make it. She could feel the residual magical energy left from attacker, and could tell it wasn't from this plane of existence.
  Celine has been tracking and fighting anyone who is connected with the supernatural, looking for her sisters killer. Her travels led her to Knight-Be-Damned, who she initially tried to kill. After that she would later join and the Doomwatch, as they would help her find her the one responsible. She was no longer worried about her reputation but she knew her sister would do the same for her, and she couldn't let her down.
