BRUJA or Biological Response Unit of Jinxes & Aliens is an old covert organization of the Mexican government dealing in magic and other worldly threats.
History
BRUJA started out as BRU, the Biological Research Unit. They were created to study the unknown with what they had available to them, magic. They worked on behalf of the Mexican government to discover the truth of the rumors of aliens in Mexico, and they did, fairly quickly. Even establishing a dialogue and coexistence with each other, with the aliens building a peaceful colony in their country. But when a few government members took it upon themselves to get rid of the aliens. They killed enough of the aliens to spark a bitter war, and also destroying their ships and base to stop them from escaping and sending a distress signal. Which led the aliens to go underground, when this happened the original leaders of BRU left in protest, and the organization turned into BRUJA. Which purpose has changed, from learning and understanding to dominating and eliminating.
BRUJA is now in a shadow guerilla war with the aliens they attacked so long ago. Still determined to win no matter the effects it has on the country.
