Energy Bee

A/n: Unlike Sparkler Bees, these are actual bees. Why it turned out that way, I don't know.
The mighty sparkler bee, responsible for repairing the atmosphere of some of the various problems of some Enhanced power usage byproducts, actually started causing a few problems.
A/n: It's almost like if you introduce a whole species to the global ecosystem and the atmosphere that it might disrupt things ecologically.
Namely, despite the fact that they were still able to repair the holes caused, they were developing a kind of energy byproduct that was starting to interfere with a few other global functions. So I came up with something to consume that byproduct.
  Hence, energy bees.
They exist fairly high up in the atmosphere, so that they can interact with the sparkler bees. Since they feed off of the energy pollen byproduct, they don't really need to live much lower. I did give them electrical resistances, though, so they could survive storms a bit better.
They're larger than the average bee, which puts them at only slightly smaller than the minuscule birds that are sparkler bees. Very amiable, rather like their primary root species of bumble bee, they float from place to place collecting the energized pollen that the sparkler bees produce.
When necessary, they coalesce into hives, essentially forming it out of their bodies. They create something kind of like honey except that it glows and probably should not be consumed on a regular basis and also is incredibly lightweight. No danger of falling honey storms. The main risk is actually more that it can congeal on airplane exteriors and it renders them a bit sticky.
Fortunately, the amounts of all of this needed is not super high so there's not a huge amount of energized honey floating around.
  A/n: She means radioactive.
