Krey
The origin of the Krey is shrouded in mystery. Some claim that they are a result of Fiendish blood coming in contact with humans from before the Sundering. Others state that it is a result of couplings between fiends and mortals, while others state it is a result of an ancient pact made or broken. The term Krey comes from the city in southern Selanden where the ancestry hails. Krey are too often judged by their appearance and are mistrusted. Regardless of how they look, Krey are in the same spectrum as Humans and other mortals, some being good and noble seeking to fight against ancient prejudices and other giving into the stereotypes imposed upon them, but most are somewhere in the middle. Krey are not acknowledged in the cosmology of the Divine Hand. They typically live around the same amount of time as Humans.
Playing a Krey
With their infernal heritage, Krey often find themselves distrusted or feared. While some choose to embrace the darkness others perceive in them, many strive to cast off these preconceptions and prove their worth. The common Krey is insular and cautious, often wary of those outside their community. A Krey against type, however, might be a beacon of positivity and trust, easily forging friendships and embracing the world's diversity.Basic Information
