Woofwoof

Woofwoof is the name of the legendary wolfdog that has rescued over ten children from the imperial palace school in the old capital after a was fire spread out through the complex. He proved to be the one true floofy blessing during this catastrophe.   Imperial children are not educated by their parents, especially not the princes. Once they reach the age of about 5 or 6 years old they get moved into a residence within the royal palace that serves as their school and living quarters. The best scholars and artists from the entire country get hired to tutor the next generation of leadership and on occassion, other talented children or children from prominent and favoured noble houses are granted the permission to also send their children to this school and have them educated alongside the best of the best, hoping to turn them into the future ministers and generals and forge early alliances between all of them.   A fateful long and hot summer 20 years ago a fire broke out in one of the western wings of the palace and because of the strong and dry winds it spread very quickly and overtook more than a third of the entire palace. Many souls, servants and residents alike were lost that night but one brave animal proved that there is hope even in the darkest of times.   Dogs are not as favoured companions as cats are but there were still a couple of them being brought up in the palace as pets. On occassion one guard might have a dog to help him assist with their duties, but that is more common for rural residencies. It is therefore considered to be a complete miracle that this particular dog not only made it to the site of the disaster but also managed to sniff and drag out ten children before the entire building collapsed. This incident rigthfully turned him into the most famous dog in all history and some even consider him to be a saint patron of rescuers.

Thank you for reading my world!

I used Summer Camp this year to generate new ideas that I can explore and play around with in the months to come. All of my articles are first drafts, little sketches that need further development.
