Each temple has a specialisation that ties to the way they worship the dieties. They generally focus around rituals of cleansing your space, mind, body and your future. Incense is a tool used to invoke a specific presence in the form of semi translucent smoke of different smell and properties.

One of the rarest kind of incense is the incense of clarity and its creation method is a closely guarded secret. Created first as a tool to help sharpen one's focus on whatever their duties are and eliminate the needs of distraction, more potent versions have been created in the hopes of providing clarity not only in your mind but also your speech. It can be used as a truth serum and therefore is a prized possesion to all that suspects people around them of lies and deceit. Ingredients needed to make this incense were nearly driven to exctinction and almost everyone is now aware of the earthy smells of raindrops - petrichore - that has been slowly masked by other, sweeter scents of flowers that compliment it. If you step into a room that smells very flowery but there are no flowers in sight, or none that would match what your nose is sensing, be on your guard that any time you open your mouth to speak, an invisible power might force you to reveal things that are true, but which you might not want to share aloud under normal circumstances.

There are rumours that even stronger incense has been created deep in the mountains by some temples that is able to force out truths that the speaker does not even know. This version of the incense of clarity can be used as an extremely accurate divination method although it does take a significant toll on the speakers themselves. But few care about drugging their servants when it might help them uncover things that are yet to be.
