Rangers

Rangers are somewhat more commonly encountered than their more magically focused counterparts, druids. However, like druids, they tend to be found most commonly in wild and rural areas, where they can nurture their connections to nature. Often viewed as the intermediaries between civilization and nature, rangers are often tasked with pushing back encroachments of wilderness into urban areas, as well as deterring those who would treat nature as their personal playground, without regard for its balance or well-being. Despite common misconceptions, not every ranger has a pet bear or pet wolf.   Renown: 8/10
