Clerics

While one might think clerics are universally beloved, there are many a person who takes issue with the excessive piousness many of this divine casters are accused of, and many who have, especially in recent years, taken issues with those clerics who charge exorbitant rates for their healing and resurrection magics. There is also the fact, not often brought up in such discussions, that clerics can be devoted to any deity; one need only interact with the devotees of Bane, Cyric, or Gruumsh to realize just how un-pious a cleric can be. Still, there is no deying that many clerics devote their lives to helping those around them, often at the cost of their own sanity, sleep, and well-being, and most communities with a cleric view them as beloved figures.   Renown: 10/10
