Incarnae

Within the Myth-Weave of the Eldest Faith there are said to be beings but also places and things that embody the spirit-nature of the Firstborn of the Greatwood or other powerful manifestations of the Allsēl.

Ultimately every living being is, to a degree, considered an incarnae of the life force of the Allsēl by the Urdeain of the Eldest Faith of scholars of the Academia Ars Magicka et Mundana who research such vile things but commonly, within the cosmology and belief system of the Eldest Faith when one speaks of "incarnae" what is meant is greater bodily manifestations than those of mere mortal souls.

Spirit Beasts are among the most common of the Incarnae and are, perhaps, also present outside of the Leshivoi Forest, as some have likened the animal familiars kept by many a wielder of sanctioned Magick to be nothing more nor less than the Spirit Beasts found in the Leshivoi Greatwood.
Of course such claims are, within the City State of Styx' fearful and orthodox beliefs, considered to be heretical in nature and maybe even an attempt at normalizing and trivializing the numberless and immesurable as well as indescribable horrors harbored by the Forest.

Greater Incarnae than Spirit Beasts or perhaps familiars are the Great Beasts of the Leshivoi Forest, primal and predatory embodiment of the limitless power of the Firstborn of the Greatwood themselves.

Some scholars have also claimed that Forest Dragons or even all Great Dragons may ultimately be considered examples of Great Beasts or more broadly simply greatest incarnae.
