Once a vassal state of the Empire of Styx, then a vassal state of the Kingdom of Darklight, now an independent fiefdom ruled by the Tharnova family the Duchy of Sharhaven spans much of the Obsidian Coast.
Its biggest towns and cities are Sharhaven, Tide's Edge and Rhesita near its north-western border at the edge of the Leshivoi Forest.
The Duchy of Sharhaven is huge in trade and known as a naval force of considerable power.
The markets and harbors of Sharhaven, especially Tide's Edge are the gateway to the wider world beyond the Great Cavern of Aman-ya to both Styx and the Kingdom of Darklight and Sharhaven also connects to the Surface-oriented trade routes of Deephold and by extension the other disparate dwarven city states making it a true hub of cultural and mercantile exchange.
