Bay of Leaves
The Bay of Leaves is a shallow bay perpetually covered in autumnal leaves floating on the surface. It is not suitable for large boats, but small ships like galleys, canoes, and rowboats are sometimes used for transportation along the bay or across the bay to Octopus Ieg.
Ecosystem
Leaves from trees on Octopus Ieg and the Crims Fen fall and find their way to the bay, whose salty and mystical waters somehow preserve the leaves which has resulted in the multitude of leaves which cover the surface. As a result, the wildlife beneath the surface have adapted to darkness and is home to strange fish normally found in deep water, as well as rare and unique species of fish, mollusks, and corals. The seafloor is nourished by leaves which have fallen to the bottom.
