Giovanni Elarte

Summary

Giovanni is a well-known Fellow in the Tripodi family. Giovanni doesn't publically leave the Italian district very often; he's usually found slowly making his way through very long meals in one of a dozen restaurants and cafés, having meetings with those who come by. Giovanni has been doing this for well over a decade, and he's a known figure everywhere he goes at this point. Giovanni and his small cadre of underlings are the main way that non-politicians and people not in power can talk to the Tripodi. Giovanni also has a more openly available side business procuring items, and he has "friends" in the colonial military from whom he gets special treatment from time to time. Giovanni is married with several children, but it's an open secret that he has a few mistresses who are his last meetings some nights of the week.

Reputation

Giovanni is loud and boistrous, and thus hard to miss when he's riled up. He knows the game well though, so he's not offensive or aggressive. The best word for him might be ubiquitous -- he just seems to be everywhere when you're in the Italian district, so most people pay him no particular mind. He can be a bit judgmental and has a tendency to give unwanted advice, but his information is clean and soild, and whatever people think of him personally, they know he can be trusted. Giovanni is very friendly to everyone, but people who betray him are dead to him forever, and he makes it a policy to never say another word to anyone who violated hs trust.
