Calvin Foracks
Summary
A cousin of Graham's family, Calvin is a lawyer and member of the Ecumene Council. Calvin is a bit of a wonk -- he's obsessed with the law and with politics. He specializes in obscure contract work and that makes him a sought after barrister in civil cases, although much of his work is serving as chief counsel for the Foracks House. Calvin is the only surviving member of his part of the Foracks family, being an only child and as his father passed several years ago and his mother Susan died recently as a result of Parkenson's Disease. Calvin is friendly and enthusiastic, but he's obsessed with his field to the exclusion of almost anything else. He's equally obsessed with self-improvement, and while he doesn't brag about it, he spends much of his time playing tennis and squash and reading at the library. As such, Calvin is beloved in his spheres and considered a nice guy but a bore outside of it. Calvin also has a few bitter enemies from his legal work, and while he's generally jovial, he can be downright sadistic when he genuinely hates someone.
