The Alleyway of Arse, Rotarian Urban Warfare

The Death Guard Force the Praetorus Praestrangulo made landfall on the east most continent after a Bio dump from orbit. Their aim; to create a staging planet in the system. The Bio dump leaving nothing but melted ruins and inhospitable terrain.   A force of the Dark Angels was in already in system and able to respond, but not before the fall of the city. A landing party was assembled to answer the Death Guard threat.   The ruins of the Bio dumps ground zero the landing zone for the Praetorians. They immediately began preparations for taking the planet city by city starting with the Easternmost city of Bannerfall.   Only after finishing the first summoning ritual did the Dark Angels make planet-fall and establish a perimeter leading to a clash between the two forces.   Centered around the main thoroughfare of the ruins of a Cathedral the 2 forces clashed. Scouts fighting Nurglings in the center, the praetorians advancing slowly. Ev'aali Daemon prince engaged the forces of the Dark Angels head on, his aura alone felling several primaris marines. Charging into 2 tactical squads, a chaplain, librarian and Apothecary.   A lone interceptor squad flanked round the unopposed side and engaged the Chaos Hulk and dodged his attacks to sabotage the operations while they were otherwise engaged.   The chaplain delivered several crushing blows to the daemon prince but fell to the plague-fiend along with the rest of the tactical squads. Losing their forces but ultimately securing imperial victory, valiantly holding the lines until the last man to allow the main fleet to make planet fall.
