The mercury oceans, while rarely visible in their full glory through the dense atmosphere, shimmer beneath the clouds, contributing to the planet's unique and otherworldly visuals.  

Society & Culture

The society on Telson Prime is marked by extreme wealth and exclusivity. The high-altitude plateau house the nobility and the ultra-wealthy, who revel in a luxurious lifestyle amidst the challenging atmospheric conditions. The planet serves as a playground for the rich and famous, surrounded by opulence and indulgence. Life in the Telson system is sharply divided between the detached elite and the common population. On Telson Prime, the local nobility and ultra-wealthy live in secluded comfort, largely indifferent to the world beyond. These nobles profit from the lands they own on the moons of the gas giant Telson III, yet they play little active role in governance. As long as their opulent lifestyle is maintained, they remain aloof, leaving the system’s administration to an impersonal bureaucracy. To the bureaucrats, the population is little more than a series of numbers to be managed with cold efficiency, their primary concern being to keep the elite content. While the culture on Telson Prime is one of privilege and indulgence, the moons reflect a more practical, working-class ethos, driven by the struggle for survival amidst systemic indifference.  

Economy

Telson Prime itself, though home to the wealthy, functions primarily as a luxurious retreat. The planet’s high-altitude plateau cater to the ultra-rich, turning Telson Prime into a sought-after destination for affluent tourists, celebrities, and nobles seeking opulence and exclusivity. Telson Prime draws revenue from its role as a glamorous playground where the elite indulge in lavish lifestyles, extravagant events, and high-stakes leisure activities. Despite its wealth and the inflow of capital from visiting elites, Telson Prime’s economic foundation is heavily reliant on the productivity of its outer moons and trade. The trade being centered around the import of luxury goods and the export of produce from Telson III’s moons.
