Metaso Prime, like other planets in the Scorpio Constellation, was once under the rule of the Scorpio-Imperii house during the galactic empire era. Following the civil war that led to the fall of the Scorpio house, the planet became part of the Dominion. Its agricultural resources, trading wealth and strategic location contribute to its importance within the Dominion.
