Apollo II is a cratered silicate world with automated mining rigs and scattered domes. Apollo Prime is the third planet and the only inhabited one, lying comfortably in the habitable zone. Apollo IV is a cold terrestrial world with a thin atmosphere and sealed terraforming sites. Apollo V is a dark, carbon-rich planet with high-altitude chemical harvesting platforms. Apollo VI is an airless iceball with deep fault lines and small orbital research stations. A narrow asteroid belt between Apollo II and Apollo Prime hosts automated mining drones and system defense buoys.

Rivalries between noble families such as the Montagues, Von Royce, and Von Taxis are a common feature of Apollo Prime’s elite political life. History
The planet of Apollo Prime is home to a rich and diverse population of mostly humans, who have lived on the world for centuries. It is a world of plenty, blessed with natural resources, fertile lands, and countless lakes. This abundance has enabled the population to develop a prosperous economy based on agriculture, manufacturing, and energy production serving as a bread basket for the Dominion.
Traditionally the world is considered a fief for the crown-prince of the Dominion, serving as a good place to learn the administration and political skills required to later run an empire. though with the crown-prince often being required to precent else where in the empire, the worlds day-to-day administration is often entrusted to one of his close advisors. the opportunity to gain a lot of prestige, influence and power by both advising the crown-prince and being close with the imperial throne combined with the opportunity to rule over the world, leads to lot of cut-throat political manoeuvrers among the nobility of the Dominion seeking to gain advisory positions. even among the families that already hold advisory positions such as the Montagues, Von Royce and the Von Taxis there is alot of rivalries.
