Karak, the Shadow Prowler
Karak, the Shadow Prowler, also known as 'The Prowler' and 'Uncle Kar' was the god of darkness, greed and hatred. His dogma is solely built on looking out for ones self, at the cost of others. Karak is a truly evil god, originally spawning from the only spot of shadow that Nangalad left upon her ascension, he has always sought to increase the darkness in the world and spread his words of hatred wherever he goes. Karak prefers to use trickery, revelling in witnessing the descent into madness that a good creature can experience. However, he has also known to be merciless and cruel whenever he feels like he has been crossed.
Divine Appearance
Karak is often described as a slender cloaked man, sometimes surrounded by black tendrils of darkness. His eyes are set with dark purple gems and he always wears an arrogant smile as a grimace. He is often depicted with his signature weapon, the flail, in a striking position. This flail is, also known as the 'Null-Star' is made from solidified astral energy and is said to be able to bypass the immortality of almost any creature. Because of this, Karak's shadowy form is feared by almost any immortal.
Shadowborn
Spawned from shadow, Karak has sought to increase his domains of darkness since the beginning of time. However, with Nangalad's watchful gaze it is difficult for Karak (who is unable to traverse sunlight) to work his designs out in the world. Therefore, Karak spreads his influence through granting mortals the powers of his shadow, often he grants it to those unknowing and to those who wish to do good. While it is not impossible to control the power of shadows, often mortals tend to fall into despair and end up corrupted by Karak's influence. A fate that the god of darkness takes great pleasure in witnessing in.
