Church of the Freight
Ever since the first appearances of the Divine Freight, many across Stashu'une's vast expanses continued to long for the coming of the Mighty Train and the blessings that it brings in each passing. In the eastern continents where its visits are more frequent and prolonged, many began to worship the Divine Freight as their one true god, assimilating other religions with the might of the god that appeared before them regularly, and thus was the beginning of the Church of the Freight.
The Church of the Freight is a benevolent religion devoted to the worship of the Divine Freight, offering portions of their boons up to the Mighty Train in order to promote further visits and blessings from it. The Church is made up of any and all who believe in the righteous power of the Freight, however the majority of their members consist of farmers and other laborers who benefit greatly from the Freight's passing. The Church includes priests who claim to carry the Freight's blessing within themselves, and they use this power to further promote growth and prosperity while repelling any of the Church's enemies.
To become a priest of the Church is to undergo trial and tribulation. Only those who are truly devoted to the Freight may enter the priesthood, and once this devotion is demonstrated will the trials continue. Prospective priests are escorted by experienced members of the Church to the next location the Freight shall appear. Once there, the prospects are tasked to approach the train as best they can without touching it. The divine might emanating from the Train is too great for the average mortal, and many prospects perish in the task. Those that remain are forever changed: They are blessed by this same divine power that pulses with each passing of the Freight, and new priests to the Church are born.
