The Earth-Painters Rose

A species of flowering plant genetically engineered during the last days of the Paradise War, the Terra Rose has become an unofficial symbol for humanity as a whole, as well as the near loss of their home world.

An act of genetic-engineering that borders on artistry rather than science, the Terra Rose can grow in almost any mineral rich environment, and needs a miniscule amount of water. Besides it's heartiness, the flower is notable for it's bloom.

While the plants buds will look a striking white while closed, their annual bloom reveals a unique image on the inside. Specifically, a recreated painting from the artistic history of Humans.
