Session 4: Return to Absalom

The team was able to escape the Bretheda system by using some of the transponder masking features of Zax-17 and a quick jump to the Drift on the far side of the planet. On the way back to Absalom, they received a couple of messages: one encrypted and cryptic, and one from Zevrakka threatening the party to return her "stolen" AI.

Upon arriving in Absalom, the only place they had friends, they were briefly stopped from access to the station because of a hit on their ship signature that matched some information regarding an illegal AI Smuggling operation. Khiedris was able to charm the officer investigating with promises of concert tickets and her listening to a tape made by the investigator's daughter. All bullshit.

The team, being broke from buying Julzakama off for his ship and for his work in supporting the ruse with Zev, contacted Nikk-Nakk in Little Akiton looking for a job. As luck would have it, Nikk-Nakk had some scrap metal he needed transported to a junk moon located not far from Absalom station.

The party was just about to head further in to Little Akiton when they discovered they had been being shadowed by an Ysoki carrying a clipboard. Unfortunately for the Ysoki, Khiedris recognized him, and the jig was up. Turns out, this is Subject 66 - Johnny 'Sixes who - scrapping and stealing to make ends meet after having escaped from an experimental lab - was on the run from Station authorities.
