The Miraculum Crystal

The Miraculum Crystal remains one of the most enigmatic and feared relics in the history of Natura. Revered and reviled in equal measure, it is believed by many scholars and theologians to be the crystallized heart of the fallen god Adium, cast down in defiance into Amare’s world. Four thousand years ago, the massive blood-red crystal plummeted from the heavens and embedded itself deep within the vast continent of Pegasi, shaking the land and igniting an age of turmoil.
The Cicadean Empire, a brutal and power-hungry force, was the first to seize the crystal. Under their command, the Miraculum became a terrifying weapon of conquest. Any who dared touch it were granted an overwhelming and corrupting strength, transforming soldiers into unstoppable juggernauts of destruction. Drunk on this dark power, the Cicadean armies ravaged nations and seemed poised to enslave the entire world.
Their reign of terror was brought to an unexpected end by the Eagle’s March, a mercenary band of warriors local to Pegasi, and renowned for their unyielding spirit and selfless resolve. The Eagle’s March accomplished what no army could: they wrested control of the crystal and, resisting its malevolent influence, channeled its power for good. With the crystal’s might turned against the empire, they toppled the Cicadean regime and liberated the lands from its shadow.
In the aftermath of victory, the Eagle’s March founded a new nation atop the ashes of the fallen empire: the nation of Solaris. Built as a symbol of hope, justice, and restraint, Solaris stands to this day as the guardian of the Miraculum Crystal and the living legacy of those who once overcame the lure of absolute power.
