The Cicadean Empire

The Cicadean Empire once cast a dark and suffocating shadow across Natura, its tyrannical grip sparking fear and chaos far beyond its own borders. Known for its ruthless expansion, the empire did not merely conquer lands—it disrupted the delicate balance of power across the world. Its aggressive campaigns and demand for dominance forced neighboring nations into panic, driving them to develop extreme defensive measures and even launching preemptive wars against each other in desperate struggles for survival and resources.
The Cicadean Empire was quite literally forged from fire. Its seat of power lay in the volatile heart of a volcanic region, now known as The R.C.E Commonwealth, where rivers of molten lava became the lifeblood of its industry and military might. The empire’s blacksmiths and craftsmen mastered the use of these searing flows to create unparalleled armor and weapons, imbuing their soldiers with nearly invincible protection and fearsome tools of war. The heat and smoke of the land were further harnessed to power warships and experimental technologies, elevating the Cicadeans to a terrifying pinnacle of warfare and innovation.
Yet, as with all empires built on cruelty and oppression, Cicadea’s reign would not last. The rise of the Eagle’s March marked the beginning of the end. This determined band of mercenary warriors, armed with the righteous power of the Miraculum Crystal, broke the back of the empire’s war machine. Following their crushing defeat, the empire crumbled from within as infighting, betrayal, and frustration consumed its nobles and ruling class. The once-mighty Cicadean Empire, born of fire and fury, was finally extinguished.
