The Sommelier is an expert in enchanted wines and spirits, transforming them into powerful (but risky) boons for allies. By pouring magical drinks mid-combat and summoning mystical barrels across the battlefield, the Sommelier controls tempo and buffs the party, but with the risk of overindulgence leading to Dazed, Slowed, or Blinded effects. The Sommelier balances incredible group buffs with a unique risk-reward mechanic. An ally being assisted needs a cool down of a specific amount of turns depending on how much they have had to drink. If given wine or spirits during this cooldown, they will become Dazed, Blind, or become Prone, Disoriented, etc.

Mystic Pour – You use magic to conjure a finely crafted wine of your choosing, invigorating an ally's soul with it.

Wine Types:

Red Wine – Increases damage dealt for 2 turns.

White Wine – Increases Defense for 2 turns

Sparkling Wine – Increases Dexterity and movement speed.

Summon Barrel – You summon a barrel of a mystical wine or spirit upon the battlefield, awaiting for it to be exploded and it's contents revealed.

Barrel Types:

Vine Wine Barrel – Spilled Wine from this barrel will create entangling vines that ignore allies.

Flame Brandy – Spilled brandy is instantly combusted and severely burn creatures in it.

Mist Absinthe – Spilled absinthe creates a green mist that heavily disorients anyone inside.

Corked Distraction – You pop a cork loud enough to deafen and possibly disorient anyone near you.

Vintage Selection (Reaction) - if accompanied by any food-type class (Gourmandier, Cauldroneer, etc), you may use this reaction upon one of their healing/buff spells to pair a wine that will raise the effects of said healing/buff.

Ultimate Ability – Grand Tasting – For the next 3 turns, you may use two buffs per ally present. Allies will ignore intoxication.
