Plaguemancer
"In the wild, predators can be fought, shelter can be built, and food can be hunted — survival, while difficult, is achievable through will and knowledge. But humanity has always been haunted by something far more insidious: disease. Invisible, patient, and merciless, sickness has claimed more lives than war or beasts — plagues that rot from within, infections that fell even the mightiest warriors, and illnesses carried from birth with no cure in sight. The Plaguemancer wields this terror as a weapon, unleashing clouds of disease across the battlefield like wildfire. Their magic festers and spreads, indiscriminate in its reach, threatening friend and foe alike. With power rooted in decay and suffering, the Plaguemancer must walk a careful line — for the very sickness they command may consume all, even those they fight to protect."
The Plaguemancer specializes in learning magic channeled through the instant growth of poisonous mushrooms that release a deadly spore. This magic causes these mushrooms to grow instantly and fester it's surroundings, plaguing soil and people alike. The disease can be carried by enemies or allies that are stricken with the sickness, and will inflict unpredictably to anyone it makes contact with. It may last, or it may not. Sickness must be managed carefully. The Plaguemancer himself is immune, as his study of the magic results in an immunity in their aether. Infected enemies take necrotic damage per turn, and may spread in melee range. If they die while infected, they will explode in spores that will remain as a cloud for one turn.
Abilities:
Living Disease – You summon a medium sized patch of fungi that release spores. Any who start or end their turn on the patch will become Infected. This patch will increase size by a small or great amount at every start of the Plaguemancer's turns moving forward, and can only be dismissed by the Plaguemancer himself, in case it grows too much.
Plague – Sacrificing a small to medium amount of size of the existing Living Disease patch, you harness a ball of plague from the patch and fire it onto an enemy, causing them to roll to become Infected for 2-4 turns.
Host Infusion – You infuse an ally or enemy with a dormant bacteria, making them a Host. Hosts will carry the disease but suffer no effects from it, spreading the actual plague to any they come into contact with. This will last for 2-4 turns. At any time, the Plaguemancer can retract the plague from the Host, but it will damage them. Hosts can be healed if you use Plague on them.
Toxic Bloom – You command the infection within a creature to explode into a cloud of spores that will remain for 1 turn. At this time, the actual infection within said creature will roll to dissipate or remain within them.
Decay Regen (Passive) - If you stand within a patch of Fungi, you will receive a decent amount of HP regeneration per turn.
Ultimate Ability – Fungal Cloud – Your Living Disease Patch turns into a cloud of disease, and can be moved every turn for the next 3 turns. This will instantly grant Infected to any enemy it comes into contact with, and Host to every ally.
