Nosferatu
The Nosferatu are a distinct race of humans from the shadowed land of Mogfall, known for their rare and haunting command over blood and pulse. Marked by pale skin, glowing red veins, crimson eyes, and dark black markings around their eyelids, they possess a striking and otherworldly appearance.
Nosferati can momentarily manipulate their own blood flow, enhancing speed, reflexes, or strength in bursts — though this power comes at a cost. Their natural pulse is weaker than that of most humans, making them more vulnerable to fatigue and excessive bleeding. Yet it is their aetheric signature that sets them apart: a magical affinity allowing them to briefly control blood outside the body as well, whether their own or another’s. In battle, this allows them to shape blood into weapons or tools for mere seconds, striking with eerie precision before the form dissolves. Equal parts deadly and fragile, the Nosferati walk a fine line between life’s rhythm and its unraveling.
