New Solarwood

The New Solarwood was born from rebellion — a nation forged in the aftermath of Oracle Sylphia Dryadalis's uprising. Once known simply as Solarwood, the region lay just outside of the borders of Solaris, home to the sacred Oracle’s Palaces and the surrounding cities steeped in ancient tradition. When Sylphia rose against her bloodline’s passive legacy, she seized this land, locking it down and declaring independence from the Solarian crown.

Under her command, the Solarwood transformed into a war state, its gates closed to diplomacy and its energies focused on conquest — particularly the overthrow of Solaris itself. Renaming the region New Solarwood, Sylphia envisioned it as the cradle of a new world order, one ruled by vision and force. But as her attention remained fixed on external domination, the internal fabric of her nation began to unravel. Lawlessness and disorder seeped into the streets, as crime, corruption, and unrest were left unchecked — inconveniences Sylphia ignored so long as they did not hinder her grand designs.

Eventually, her regime fell. The rebellion crumbled, and New Solarwood was reclaimed, not by monarchs, but by its people. Yet the name remained — a symbol of its transformation. No longer a kingdom or oracle-led territory, New Solarwood now stands as a self-governed province of Solaris, ruled not by prophecy or bloodright, but by the voices and choices of those who call it home.
